Hugo's pizza is a kind of food that you'd enjoy with your friends , family and love's one. And there’s nothing cookie-cutter about Pizza Hut. Not our pizzas. Not our people. And definitely not the way we live life. Around here, we don’t settle for anything less than food we’re proud to serve. And we don’t just clock in.
Not when we can also become our best, make friends, and have fun while we’re at it. Hugo's Pizza is a dish located in Purok- 3 Nabunturan, and it consisting of a usually round, flat base of leavened wheat-based dough topped with tomatoes, cheese, and often various other ingredients, which is then baked at a high temperature, traditionally in a wood-fired oven.
In Hugo's Pizza they have different flavors like organic sausage, bacon, pepperoni and fresh mozzarella on a hand-stretched artisan crust, is a worthy hold up to your strong personality. And they also offer's shrimp pepperoni and creamy spinach.
And I can say pizza toppings are also packed with a compound called glutamate, which can be found in the tomatoes, cheese, pepperoni and sausage. When glutamate hits our tongues, it tells our brains to get excited and to crave more of it. This compound actually causes our mouths to water in anticipation of the next bite.
Aside from their best selling Hugo's Pizza was known here in our local place because everyone one love their food especially the creamy spinach. TOYUZO MOUNTAIN RESORT
Entry:3
It was a family outing when we went to Toyozu Mountain Resort. At that time it was still named as Compostela Valley. So since it was my first time being there we woke up at 2:00 in the morning to prepare our things. All of my family members were so excited and perhaps this was the reason why they slept late, aside from that they prepared all the food we could bring for our upcoming trip. Before we left we prayed for our safety.
Our road trip to Toyozu Mountain Resort has been far away but it was the best experience of my life. Even though this trip was a decade ago, it’s still vivid in my memory and something I will never forget. The memories I made there are something I truly treasure and always will. I learned that it was very important to spend all the time you can with the people you love. This is my unforgettable road trip to Toyozu Mountain Resort. After we reached our destination I finally saw how beautiful it was .
The resort is very natural and refreshing and offers a Japanese type of relaxation. There’s a lot of pools in the area, public and even private, which are filled with hot water. And according to the owner of this resort the water can heal our body pain, muscle pain, and blood circulation. There is a cave, serve as Sauna where people can sweat and easily removes the toxins in their body.
Aside from their pool, Toyozu mountain resort offers accommodations , cottages for day tours and rooms available during overnight stay.So what are you waiting for? Visit Toyozu Mountain Resort and experience their refreshing offer's type of relaxation.

Tasty Delights Bibingka in Valley
Entry: 2
I've got the chance to taste one of the most tasty rice puto and bibingka in the province of Compostela Valley. One can stop by the stores along the Maharlika Highway in Nabunturan to taste the town's favorite kakanin. The most prominent store is the Axl Dave Bibingka Specialty and Restaurant. They sell bibingka for P20 per pack (2 pcs) and puto for P65 per pack (6 pcs). ..
Aside from their bestseller bibingka, they also offer cold and hot drinks and Pinoy-famous kakanins that will surely give you the energy that you need for long trips. Pasalubong Centers are also present in the area with native delicacies from local manufacturers and producers across the Province of Davao de Oro that you can buy to give as a present to your family.
The traditional bibingka recipe may seem quite daunting at first.after all, who just has clay pots or Bibingka ovens just lying around at home. But this bibingka recipe is simple and can be made in any typical household kitchen. All you need are some ordinary cake pans and a kitchen oven. And with rice flour instead of regular galapong, you’ll have your own bibingka in no time!
Bibingka is a type of rice cake native to the Philippines. It goes without saying that we Filipinos love rice. We have it with almost every meal, and dessert is no exception. This is why kakanin has become such a popular Filipino merienda. A combination of the words kanin (rice) and kain (eat), kakanin refers to a group of glutinous rice cakes Filipinos know and love.
Aside from that, bibingka has different flavors. This one tastes a little bit more like a mix between cassava cake and espasol. Still, its chewy texture and sweet taste pairs great with a hot cup of coffee or cocoa.
The origin and the history of bibingka is uncertain, but the name itself bears a striking similarity to an Indian desert called “bebinca.” This type of pudding is different from the Filipino rice cake, as the former does not contain any rice ingredients and is baked several times after each pudding layer is added one at a time. The method of cooking, however, is similar because both dishes require heat over and under them while baking. The name bibingka also has some Chinese influence, as “bi” is the Chinese word for rice.
Bibingka has a texture ranging from a soft spongy texture similar to puto, another Philippine rice cake, to a soft but firm texture. It is eaten hot or warm and is slightly sweet with a taste very similar to rice pudding.

A Heart of Valley
Entry :1 Narrative essay
I have been here in Nabunturan a lot of times, but I haven't had the chance to check out the whole place. The location is very strategic, it's adjacent to fresh air, and there are a lot of places to eat here in Nabunturan. It just sometimes got too crowded as most of the supermarkets passed through it.
And here in Nabunturan agriculture is a source of our local income and export earnings to other places. Community farmers build social capital by involving a diverse group of individuals–farmers, community members, and organizations with different skills and knowledge they have about farming .And if you visit barangay basak you know the process of what they do. This social capital, or wealth,in Nabunturan about farming helps create community amenities beyond food production, including environmental and agricultural education, recreational opportunities, and nature conservation areas.
And if you look at Nabunturan it gradually developed because of the establishments that stood in the said area. And before the construction of the national road traversing Nabunturan, the place was little known; but despite the threat of malaria, which was prevalent at the time, pioneers ventured into the area. Mansaka natives settled their lives here in the municipality of Mawab in Barangay Bankerohan, Montevista.
The original site of Barangay Nabunturan was situated along the Libasan-Sao Sao Provincial Road, about 4 km from the present Poblacion site. The town of Nabunturan once a barangay of the Municipality of Compostela. The origin of the name is from buntod, the Cebuano term for “mountain.” The word “Nabunturan” means “surrounded by mountains” in English. By that time. Many business trades and establishments poured in and Nabunturan was established as a rural community.Nabunturan is also home to the biggest gold ring in the Philippines, “The Solidarity Ring.” And maybe Nabunturan is recognized as the heart of the valley because of the principles of the people who live here.
Nabunturan celebrates festivals and it was traditionally organised by and for the local community, and often celebrates a theme of the heart of valley that has developed the form within the community itself. The municipality provides members of our dearest community with opportunities to engage in socialization, entertainment and the establishment of social networks, which can contribute to the enhancement of our community cohesion and the building of social capital within a community.
Additionally, nabunturan can provide tourism benefits such as increased visitation and promotion of a destination’s image. However, there is the potential for negative social impacts including traffic congestion, overcrowding. But it's worth it because you can enjoy seeing the whole place of nabunturan and taste different foods .
